Kadaga urges Busoga leaders to stop fighting each other (VIDEO)

The Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga has urged all politicians hailing from Busoga to stop their bickering if the people of Busoga are to benefit from their leadership.

Kadaga made the appeal in a Busoga consortium consultative meeting attended by all Ministers hailing from Busoga, legislators, district chairpersons, Municipality Mayors, Chief Administrative Officers and RDCs.

Flanked by the Minister for Presidency Esther Mbayo, Kadaga told the gathered leaders that their personal political fights had not affected service delivery in the area but also scared off foreign investors.

The speaker of Parliament urged Basoga leaders to use their positions to engage in developmental activities instead of fighting each other.

She challenged all Basoga to utilise the resource that is the new Source of the Nile bridge opened in October 2018 to promote the area.

It was also in this meeting that the Minister for Presidency Mbayo who was also the head of the delegation to Shenyang city in China presented a report to the Busoga Consortium.
