Brian Isiko Case Postponed to Nov 16

A hearing for Brian Isiko has flopped after court announced that sitting magistrate Stella  Amabirisi  is away. Isiko is accused by the Kabarole Woman MP Sylvia Rwabwogo of stalking her and making her fear for her life.

MP Rwabwogo was in court for the aborted hearing this morning. She told the press that she had come to give testimony against Isiko.

She said that though Isiko claimed that he had borrowed lyrics from international musicians like Don Williams and Enrique Iglesias, she found his messages obscene and they disturbed her peace. Isiko allegedly sent the offensive messages between the months of June and December 2017.

Chief Magistrate Patricia Amiko informed the court that Isiko's trial had been adjourned to November 16.

Isiko was granted a Shs 1million cash bail by Buganda Road Grade I Magistrate Stella Amabirisi after presenting his uncles as sureties and he was ordered to return to court on 29th October 2018 for trial.
