Kyadondo East legislator Honourable Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine has vowed to defy police guidelines when he steps foot at Entebbe International Airport tomorrow morning.
Speaking to journalists Wednesday morning, the police spokesperson Emiliano Kayima said that Bobi Wine, friends and family ought to adhere to police guidelines in regards to his return.
In reply, the musician turned legislator through his verified Facebook platform has asserted that police has no business telling him who receives him and who cannot.
” Why do these police officers allow themselves to descend so low? They now want to decide who picks me and where I go upon arrival?,” Bobi posed.
He added; “Well, for your information, no single family member will receive me at the airport, I will find them home because I know where home is. I will be received by friends, colleague leaders and artistes. I will then go and see my sickly grandmother briefly at Najjanankumbi from where I will head to Kamwokya for lunch with my family (brothers and sisters) before I go to my home in Magere. I am a free Ugandan with the right to movement freely in my country.”
The police according to spokesperson Emilian Kayima had barred all processions and ordered that he will be picked by the close family members at the airport.
