Capital FM's Big Wedding is back!

Daniel Irish Kyebandula, the Programs Director at Capital FM, has said they hope to continue changing lives and cementing marriages through their Big Wedding event.

Speaking at a function to launch the sixth edition of the big wedding on Monday, Kyebandula said many people have had success stories, courtesy of the annual event, adding that they ought to continue organising it.

“Many couples have failed to hold weddings because they cannot afford to organise one. Others have been left indebted due to expensive wedding functions they have held but we thought there is need to help do it for them,” Kyebandula said.

“We want many couples realize their dreams of having weddings as a way of showing love to each other.”

According to Kyebandula, listeners are expected to write letters about their love stories detailing how they met and how their journey has been and 20 lucky couples will be selected before being resized to ten.

“The top ten couples will be invited to our studios to present their stories for listeners to choose the top five couples,” he added.

He said the top five couples would be required to answer a number of questions regarding financial management, social life and their love life before the winning couple is announced on September 10.

The wedding function is set for September 14.

The big wedding is an annual fully paid wedding for a lucky couple organised by the Kisementi based radio station.

NBS TV is one of the sponsors for this year’s annual event.
