Corporate Firms gear up for Kabira football tournament

More than 20 corporate firms will be going for glory in the Kabira country club football tournament which kicks off on Sunday June 24.

The tournament which received the endorsement of FUFA has attracted participation from a number of corporate firms such as Yokuku, Bet Yetu, Midocm, Bukoto Heights, Katon Rainbow, JBM FC, Victoria University and Riham.

The teams will be pitted in five groups of four each and will play a six-aside match of ten minutes. Each half will be five minutes

Kabira Country Club general manager Vismay Maniyar said the tournament will go a long way in improving the levels of fitness and standards of the game.

"This is a very important tournament as we build to grow the game through bringing together corporates and integrating people with our facilities like pitches, gyms and swimming pools," he said.

It is the second edition of the tournament with Kabira country club having won the first edition in 2014.
