Manchester city winger, Leroy Sane's premier league form helped much in landing him a place in the Germany 27 man provisional squad but could only do little to lure coach Joachim Low in giving him a place in the final 23 man squad for the world cup.

Sane who's club form saw him play a vital role to help Manchester city clinch their 5th premier league title scoring 10 and assisting 15 was among the four players dropped from the provisional squad with Freiburg striker, Nils Petersen, Bayer Leverkusen pair Bernf Leno and Jonathan Tah among the others that were dropped.

Bayern Munich goal keeper, Manuel Neuer was called back into the squad after nine months on the sidelines due to injury and he is set to captain the defending champions in Russia despite being in the nets as Geemany was outclassed in a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Austria on Saturday.
