Tycoon Wavamunno blasts Mukikadde organisers for "exploiting him"

Ugandan entrepreneur and businessman Gordon Wavamunno last week blasted Tugenda Mukikadde events organisers for what he termed as "exploitation of revellers."

While attending the all sold out concert at Kampala Serena Hotel over the weekend,  Wavamunno was unhappy that he was forced to buy something "he did not like" because he has money.

At first he had resisted purchasing the item but with all eyes on him, the businessman eventually told the organisers to pick Shs 1 million from his office this week.

"I am sick and tired of this issue of coming to concerts and people start auctioning items to you yet you have paid entrance fees and other items. I think this kind of behaviour should come to an end", he said when he was offered a chance to give a word.

After Wavamunno fumed, the organisers halted the auction immediately and the show went on successfully with singer Chance Nalubega brimming in the limelight.

Nalubega staged up an incredibly memorable performance as revellers wildly danced and sang word-for-word to her tunes.
