On Tuesday, coach Paul Nkata resigned as the coach for the eight placed tax collectors after his team was walloped 7-2 by defending champions KCCA FC.

“Over the years, URA FC has endeavoured to build a winning team. Just like our tagline, this is the time when the team needs all the support .We pledge all that is required to keep the dream alive,”Rumanyika said in a statement.

“We warmly welcome Ssimbwa and believe he has all the expertise necessary to lead a team of champions.”

The tax collectors were annihilated 7-2 by Kasasiro boys at Lugogo in a battle for supremacy among the government authorities in the Azam Uganda Premier League.

Ssimbwa has in the past been in charge of KCCA FC, Soana FC and Sofapaka FC in Kenya where he recently resigned the job as head coach to return home.

URA on the other side are eighth on the 16 team log in the Azam Uganda Premier League on 31 points, having won only once in the last five games, losing twice, the same number of times they have shared points with their opponents.
