Kyetume FC sack Nsumba, appoint Mbabazi as new coach

FUFA Big League side Kyetume FC have sacked head coach Augustine Nsumba and his entire coaching staff.

In Nsumba's place, Kyetume has appointed former Cranes player Livingstone Mbabazi as their new head coach.

Mbabazi was a few months ago shown the exit at Arua based Onduparaka FC.

The sacking of Nsumba, a former midfielder with record league champions SC Villa followed a recent spell of bad results for the Nakisunga based team.

A few months ago,Kyetume was on the verge of their maiden appearance in Uganda's top flight football but the second round of the FUFA Big League has seen them earn only two points out of the possible 18 in Elgon group.

This, according to sources has prompted management of the team to show Nsumba the exit.

Mbabazi is expected to lead the Mukono based team against Jinja Municipal Council Hippos in Jinja as his first game in charge of the team.

Kyetume are fifth with 28 points with only five games remaining in Elgon group of this year's FUFA Big League.
