Kenya's Wazalendo whips Kampala Hockey Club

Kenyan hockey side Wazalendo Green comprehensively whipped Kampala Hockey Club (KHC) 4-0 as they strolled to lift the Easter Hockey tournament crown on Sunday at Lugogo Hockey stadium.

Wazalendo's Kennedy Munialo was actually the tormentor-in-chief as he was on target twice as the Kenyan's out-classed and out-muscled the hosts KHC side

Evans Bwogando scored the third goal for the visiting team [Wazalendo] to put the game beyond reach for the hosts a statement that showed Ugandan sides have a long way to go.  Joseph Kasua's fine strike put the icing on cake.

Meanwhile, in the ladies tournament, it was a repeat of last year's showdown as Wananchi managed to successfully defend their crown against Kampala Hockey club with a 2-0 win.

Although the scoreline this year was a bit different [last year 2-1], the scorers remained the same as Doreen Asiimwe and Doreen Mbabazi's got the goals of the day.
