Kenzo wins Nickelodeon award

Whoever beefs Eddy Kenzo should find something new to do, the singer has become completely unstoppable, scooping awards from every nook and cranny.

The latest addition to his awards store is the Nickelodeon Kids Choice award for Best African Star.

Kenzo beat fellow African celebrities; Refiloe Maele Phoolo, professionally known as Cassper Nyovest, a South African recording artist and record producer, South African middle distance runner and Olympic gold medalist Caster Mokgadi Semenya, Nigerian singer David Adedeji Adeleke better known as Davido, Nigerian seven-year-old Comedienne Emmanuella Samuel to win the award.

“Congratulations Uganda, Congratulations East Africa, Congratulations Africa, Congratulations Eddy Kenzo team eddy kenzo #WeDidit I'm speechless,” Kenzo said upon receiving the award.

The category previously won by South African Comedian Travor Noah. This years awards were held in Los Angeles, USA.
