Kasirye Ggwanga fails to turn up for his pipping ceremony
Newly promoted Maj.Gen.Kasirye Ggwanga has failed to show up at the Ministry of Defence headquarters in Mbuya for decoration.
On Monday, a total of 62 senior UPDF officers who recently promoted were decorated at a function presided over by Gen.David Muhoozi,the Chief of Defence Forces in the UPDF.

When his name was read for decoration,Maj.Gen. Kasirye Ggwanga was nowhere to be seen.
It was however reported that the maverick two star general was not able to attend the function for 'some' reason.
Maj.Gen. Kasirye Ggwanga who has been at the rank of brigadier for 13 years was early this month promoted together with over 1000 other senior and junior officers by president Museveni who is also the Commander in Chief.
Among those promoted on March 4 include two major generals,five brigadiers and 55 colonels.
However, it should be recalled that Kasirye Gwanga in an interview with NBS TV last year, said he would never salute the new CDF. "I cannot salute these young chaps," he said.
