Pastor Ssenyonga dragged to court over Shs 5billion

Pastor Jackson Ssenyonga of Christian life church Bwaise has once again failed to reach a consensus with Businessman Nathan Bisaso regarding a case in which he is accused of failure to pay Shs5.2 billion.

The case which was mediated by Vicent Mugabo will be scheduled for litigation.

Pastor Jackson Ssenyonga popular city preacher of Christian Life ministries in Bwaise also a media proprietor is accused of breach of contract and was consequently dragged to the commercial court.

The plaintiff, Bisaso, through his lawyers, Ssekidde Associated Advocates is demanding for payment of debt amounting to Shs5.2billion from the defendants, Pastors Jackson and Eva Ssenyonga, represented by Birungi, Barata and Associates.

"The case is about my client who supplied goods to Pastor Ssenyonga but since then he has failed to meet his part of the bargain to pay his money," Simon Peter Ssekidde, Bisaso's Lawyer said.

An agreement dated 8th September 2016 shows the mode of payment in which the two parties had agreed on. Bisaso claims the defendants took stationery goods majorly NCR papers on credit since 2013 from his business at B.N. Enterprises along Nasser Road which gradually grew to Shs5.2 billion.

" He gave me cheques and when I went to the bank, the accounts were in active," Bisaso said.

The plaintiff further alleges that of the Shs 5.2b, only Shs 270million has so far been paid.
