DP asks Museveni to resolve security crisis

The Democratic Party has asked President Museveni to quickly to resolve the disagreements between some security organisations warning that this could lead to chaos.

Addressing the media today, Fred Mwesigwa, the deputy party spokesperson said there need to be changes in the leadership of some of the security organisations such as the police force.

In the last couple of weeks, the police and intelligence services have clashed over a number of arrests, sparking fear that the conflict could escalate into a deep feud.
