Museveni contributes 30M towards Mowzey Radio treatment

President Yoweri Museveni has contributed a whooping thirty million shillings towards the medical bills for singer Moses Ssekibogo, also known as Mowzey Radio.

The Ugandan music vocalist was a few weeks ago admitted at Case hospital in Kampala after sustaining injuries on his head following a bar fight in Entebbe.

Since then, well -wishers have been contributing to his medical bills, the latest being city socialite Bryan Kirumira also known as Bryan White.

However, president Museveni has joined the list of well -wishers to contribute for the Neera singer.

According to music promoter, Balaam Barugahara, the president on Tuesday evening responded to a request made to him by paying the money to cater for the bills of the singer.

"Thank you for listening and acting to the request made to you by Balaam Barugahara, Bebe Cool and Cathy Kusasira,"Barugahara posted on his social media platforms.

"We are proud to have you as a father of our nation. "

When contacted, officials from State House confirmed the president had contributed the money.

Last week, Case hospital General Manager Isa Bulamu, said the singer was out of danger adding that he would be back to his feet soon.

Mozey Radio, as is popularly known is part of the Goodlyfe duo of Radio and Weasle.

He was also part of the Tubonga naawe artists who canvassed votes for president Museveni during the 2016 general elections.
