Bebe Cool eliminates Bobi Wine, Kenzo, Chameleone in end of year 'awards'

Self proclaimed Big Size, Moses Ssali, alias Bebe Cool has caused stir on social media with an end of year 'awards' list in which he eliminated nemeses, Bobi Wine, Eddy Kenzo and Jose Chameleone.

Bebe Cool decided to release a list of his best artistes and performers in 2017, in which he despite including himself, left out the trio.

Fans poured on his page to hurl insults and rub it in that his deliberate elimination of the trio was because they are precisely better than he is..

Bebe Cool's message in full

2017 was a great year for the music industry as we witnessed a lot of new talent take shape and position in the Ugandan music/entertainment industry.

At the same time we also witnessed old talent exit as the new young talent put a lot of pressure in the game, putting into consideration the major changes in types of music/beats/fashion and interest of the audiences.

Let me thank the club, radio and tv djs in Uganda for the full unconditional support that they rendered to theĀ young talent and good music.

As a top artist in Uganda,i have all the moral authority to say that if you did not hear your music play or your artists music play on radio,tv or club then you or your artist did not do well at all no matter New or Old talent coz the djs did their part without favouring any one.

Let me also thank the PRESS in Uganda, thank you so much as you covered 90% positive/constructive,competitive and no favouring of any one in the entertainment industry.

By the end of the year,it was clear that the Ugandan audience had picked back full interest and support of its local hardworking talent/artists and that's what we call patriotism.

The above is evident as all concerts organised during the festive season 2017 were fully attended more than the other years no matter how expensive the ticket was.

FASHION

Abrianz

I want to give special credit to Abrianz for organising what am confidently calling Africa's top fashion show in Uganda and this is the point where I call upon the Ugandan government/my president to directly support by financing this young man because the event sells Uganda beyond our boarders and fashion is also a key factor in promoting/keeping our culture.

If i have not mentioned your name as an artist,or if i haven't mentioned your artist's name as a fan, your free to edit my post and include your self or artist.

Finally let me have this opportunity to thank my fans for supporting me through out last year as it wasn't an easy year as I did not do well musically.

But i would like to say to you all that consider 2018 A BEBE COOL YEAR as am done with jokes in my music. Its time to sing and i want to declare the first six months for my judgement for 2018.

LET THE GAMES BEGIN.
