WizKid finally arrives in Uganda

Nigerian artiste Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun alias Wizkid Star boy has finally arrived in Ugandan ahead of his show scheduled for Thursday at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

There was tension in the country from revelers and fans after the singer failed to show up yesterday as planned, with many believing the “ojeluegba” singer is at it again, to have them buy tickets then fail to show up.

However, the singer touched down at Entebbe International airport at 3pm, much to the relief of his promoters in Uganda, event organizers and party animals.

Wizkid has tainted history in the country even before he steps on stage, the singer left his fans and revelers in the cold in December last year after he called off a much anticipated show at the last minute.

The singer later apologised saying he had missed a flight from Los Angeles to Uganda.

But the “feelin the beat” singer is no stranger to disappointing fans no matter their geographical location, he in September canceled a show in Philadelphia after he suffered ill health just hours before the show.

Notwithstanding, Wizkid promised to make up to all his fans for the disappointment even if it means singing from his pocket. The singer is known for songs like; come closer, daddy yo, this kind love, sweet love, show you the money, cant believe among others.
