Unknown people disturb Ssemwanga’s peace, vandalise grave

Yet to be identified people on Tuesday night damaged the grave of former Rich Gang member Ivan Ssemwanga.

Sources indicate that the thugs failed in their mission but managed to make a substantial damage to the grave. However, just like their identities, so their reason for the act remains unknown

Ssemwanga died on May 25 after he succumbed to heart attack, he was later buried at his ancestral home in Kayunga amidst pomp.

While sending him off, his fellow rich gang members showered the grave with champaign, expensive wines before flooding it with all tribes of money. Their act however raised dust, with some citizens dashing to court seeking orders to have Ssemwanga exhumed and money withdrawn.

Initially security personnel were contracted to guard the grave, but they have since been relieved of the duty.
