President Robert Mugabe, who was today ousted as leader of Zanu-PF, is scheduled to address the nation from State House. it is not clear when the state address shall start.
Mugabe was today replaced by Emmerson Mnangagwa as leader of Zanu-PF.
It is not clear what he will say but there is speculation that the 93 year old could announce his resignation or stick to his guns and insist he is still the one in charge.
According to tweets from leading media and political personalities in Zimbabwe including Trevor Ncube, the owner of Mail and Guardian, Mugabe is scheduled to make an important announcement.
Vans from various international media houses including from Zimbabwe’s National Televsion, Ncube tweeted, have set up next to the State House in Harare.
