Eight people suspected to have played a role in the murder of Andrew Felix Kaweesi were today committed to the High court to have the trial begin.
The Director of Public Prosecutions communicated the decision in a letter to Noah Sajjabi, the Nakawa Grade 1 magistrate.
The eight shall be charged with terrorism, murder and aggravated robbery.
However, 15 other suspects other suspects were not committed to the High court for unclear reasons.
Those sent to the High court committee to court are: Abdulrashid Mbaziira, Hamza Higenyi, Shafiq Kasujja, Yusuf Mugerwa, Bruhan Balyejjusa, Joshua Kyambadde, Jibril Kalyango and Yusuf Nyanzi.
Kaweesi was brutally killed in March this year as he left his home in Kulambiro, Nakawa division.
