VIDEO: Ssegirinya forces Policeman to wear anti age limit removal red ribbon

Jocular Kawempe North Kampala Capital City Authority councillor Muhammad Ssegirinya has coerced a police officer to put on a red ribbon, which is being used by opposition politicians against the age limit removal.

Ssegirinya who was in company of another councillor from Kawempe, Micheal Zigwa, were at Mulago round about in Kampala distributing red ribbons to locals.

On sighting a police officer, Ssegirinya dashed towards him and tried to force a red ribbon on his head. A scuffle ensued and Ssegirinya took off after he was over powered by the youthful officer, leaving behind his ribbons.

The crowd watched and cheered on as the controversial Ssegirinya coerced the officer. The visibly angry officer walked to his other colleague and handed over the ribbon before returning to the scene.

Last week, former presidential contender in the 2016 general elections Kiiza Besigye asked all Ugandans who are against this campaign of lifting the age limit to wear red ribbons as a sign of solidarity.
