However, Ssenkeeto told the judge later that his life is in danger and asked to be provided with security.
He told the judge that he is being trailed by unknown people wherever he goes adding that he is worried over his life.
Ssenkeeto said he suspects the unknown people trailing him might be after the evidence is set to give in as his defence starts later this month.
Justice Gidudu however asked the businessman to put his request in writing through his lawyers led by Peter Muliira because it is court’s duty to ensure he gives his defence without any threat.
Earlier, Justice Gidudu had said that Ssenkeeto had a lot of queries to answer in relation to the Kyetume- Katosi road saga after purporting as the country representative of road construction company EUTAW yet it was non existent .
“Alot of questions have to be answered in which capacity he got the shs24 billion,"the judge said.
The judge faulted Ssenkeeto of frequenting various banking halls in a bid to acquire 'forged' security bonds and later fleeced huge sums of money from government by presenting false documents to UNRA.
