Bebe Cool promises Zuena splashy wedding in 2022 (VIDEO)

Musician Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool has promised his wife Zuena Kirema a splashy wedding in 2022 despite the fact that the couple got married in a civil ceremony on September 12, 2003.

The controversial musician made the revelation on  Wednesday evening, while at the Fame Lounge in Kololo. He was the guest of NBS Television's Mark Katamba alias MC Kats in a night dubbed 'Meet Your Celebrity'.

Bebe Cool mentioned that he will be walking Zuena down the aisle in 2022.

Bebe Cool was responding to one of the questions that were asked by a fan in a lengthy question and answer session.

"Zuena is my wife. If you want to see our wedding, wait for 2022," he said.

If Bebe Cool keeps his promise, this will be the second time he publicly recommits to Zuena who he married in 2003 in what was then a novel civil ceremony for many Ugandans.

Bebe Cool first married Zuena in a 2003 civil ceremony

Fourteen years into the marriage, Zuena penned a touching social media post marking the occasion.

She wrote, “Musa and Zuena.12-09-2003 was the day we said i do at Crane Chambers in a civil wedding, we are celebrating 14 years in marriage and we can’t hide our excitement.

We were so young but this Rasta man guided me to the right path and groomed me to the wife and mother i am today. he has delivered 90 per cent of what he promised”. She ended her emotional reminiscence.

The Bebe Cool-Zuena wedding ceremony, if it happens, would come a year after what promises to be an interesting general election year. Bebe Cool has continued to urge all Ugandans to vote for President Museveni who is likely to face Bebe Cool's former protege and Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi alia Bobi Wine.

On the sidelines of the event, Bebe Cool mentioned that he allowed his fans to ask him any questions they had for him because he is aware that they always have questions they want to ask yet many of them don't get chance to meet their stars.

He thanked Ugandans for supporting his music and rallying behind President Yoweri Museveni before cautioning them to always keep peace.
