Let the Goat Races begin!

The venue is set

Can the goats run? Yes they can.

All is set for tomorrow’s annual Royal Ascot Goats Race at Speke Resort Munyonyo. Preparations are complete for one of the biggest events on the social calendar.

In a video, moneybags Sudhir Ruparelia, the brainchild behind the event urged revellers to turn in in big numbers.

“The Goat Races time is here. It’s a great function for charity purposes and of course charity being the main part of the evening, we also have fun,” he said.

Proceeds from this edition, he said, will go towards charity and in particular to the construction of sanitary facilities at Good Samaritan High School in Kamwokya.

The Goat Races are the ultimate fun for those who want to socialise and mix with people of high class.

This year’s races will have actvities like the Silent Disco, Chill-Out Lounges – for revellers to mingle, and so much more.

Tickets are going for Shs 50,000 and they are readily available to all Speke Hotels in Kampala, according to organisers.

Gates open from 8am with the goat races starting at 10:30am. See you there!
