Sanyuka TV launch "Sanyuka Owakabi" campaign

Uganda’s home of sport and entertainment, Sanyuka TV, has officially launched the "Sanyuka Owakabi" campaign, where Uganda’s top musicians, along with Sanyuka TV presenters such as Zahara Totto and Annatalia "Uncut", Alya and Mukunja of "Music Taxi", Hilda Bahati of "Morning Xpress" among many others, will be traversing the country, showcasing the StarTimes Uganda Premier League and giving back to communities.

The campaign starts tomorrow at Nateete Market where the StarTimes Uganda Premier League fixture between Express FC and Police FC will be broadcast live.

Top Ugandan musicians, led by Gravity Omutujju, OS Ssuuna, Maro, Zandaman and Ugandan kickboxer, Moses Golola, graced the launch of the Sanyuka Owakabi campaign this afternoon here at the Next Media offices.

At the launch, Sanyuka Television General Manager, Joseph Kigozi, further explained what the campaign is all about.

"'Owakabi' is an experiential marketing campaign that we've done over the years here at Next Media Services," Sanyuka TV General Manager, Joe Kigozi, before adding, "For our Sanyuka TV brand, we feel we need to connect more with our audience, get feedback from them on how to serve them better, and that's why we're launching 'Sanyuka Owakabi'."

The artistes welcomed the move, saying it is a platform for harmony.

"This is a very good idea that the people at Next Media have come up with, merging football and music," said OS Ssuuna.

The artistes and Moses Golola will be joined by Sanyuka TV presenters.
