Pastor Sempa inspired my tune, says Big Trill, hit maker of Party after Party (VIDEO)

Musician Kaiza Roland commonly referred to as Big Trill has revealed how his latest hit song dubbed "Party after party" was inspired by Makerere Community Church's founder and senior preacher, Pastor Martin Sempa.

The song has continued to top various playlists and has since been declared a Ugandan entertainment anthem since its release last month. The song became very popular during the just concluded Nyege Nyege festival held in Jinja.

While speaking to NBS Television's Uncut, Big Trill said that he was inspired by Pastor Sempa's complaints about Ugandans' love for parties.

"I was here and saw Pastor Sempa on TV complaining about Ugandans and their love for parties, he said every time party, party and party. This got me thinking and I tried to make a beat out of it," Big Trill said in part.

Asked why most of his songs are in English, BigTrill said that he was comfortable and liked using English because that is how he was brought up.

"In all the schools I went through, we were punished for speaking Luganda and that's why I am so fluent in English," he said.

He added that 'Party after Party is a song that can inspire someone to have a good time because Ugandans love a good party.
