Centenary Bank flags off Customers to 2019 AFCON games in Egypt

Centenary Bank this Friday handed over return air tickets to five lucky customers and their children, for a fully-paid trip to the ongoing AFCON games in Egypt, as the climax of the bank's "Kwasa with Cente Visa" campaign.

The group was flagged off by Centenary Bank's Managing Director, Fabian Kasi, and the General Manager Corporate Communications and Marketing, Beatrice Lugalambi, at the bank's head office at Mapeera House, in Kampala.

Their flight to Cause is scheduled for Monday, July 8th, 2019.

The "Kwasa with CenteVisa" customer reward campaign kicked off on April 02, 2019 and has seen over 60 customers win air tickets to Egypt, Visa branded goodies and over Shs 16 million in cash for using their CenteVisa cards to transact across the different digital platforms including; Online payment portals and Point of Sale (POS) machines at petrol stations, supermarkets, pharmacies, grocery shops excluding the bank's ATMs.

While addressing the lucky winners and media at the handover ceremony, Mr. Kasi thanked the customers for embracing the campaign, choosing and believing in the bank.

"Today's handover is not just a ceremony but a sign that Centenary Bank delivers on its promises. We recognise the value that our customers bring to Our Bank and therefore, the need for us to cultivate a long standing and mutually beneficial relationship with them," Kasi said.

Today the bank's customer base consists of over 1.6 million customers, which is a quarter of the banking population. Of these, more than 50% have received their visa-enabled cards.

The bank further extended its hearty appreciation to AFCON for making thr bank's dream of rewarding its customers with a memorable experience possible.
