Tusker Lite Kampala Night Run to challenge runners at fun run

The second edition of the Tusker Light Kampala Night Run is set to take place this Sunday with runners gearing up for the three km route.

Night runs are a common occasion in many parts of the world and usually entail a running standard marathon distance ranging from 21km-42km. However, with the concept being that of a fun-run, it is tailored to be a distance of less than 10km for many.

Brand 7D, organisers for the TLKNR revealed that due to feedback from runners of last year who requested to have a more challenging route, it has been increased to 3km, a difference of 1km from last year.

Runners will have a chance to break a sweat in the adventurous fun run that will be accompanied with lots of glow-in-the-dark accessories and a well-lit route courtesy of Tusker Lite.

The runners will then transform into revelers for a night of nonstop music action and entertainment coming in from songbirds Irene Ntale, Winnie Nwagi, Pallaso, Grenade, B2C soldiers, Hit Nature with epic DJ mixes from DJ Dash and DJ Ciza.

Tickets to the night run are still on sale and available at all Funz Video Outlets, Destination and Torino Bar and Restaurant at only Shs20,000.
