Bobi Wine arrested, to be produced in court this afternoon
Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine is set to appear in court this afternoon. Bobi Wine is reportedly in the custody of the Uganda Police Force.
He had been detained at Nagalaama Police Station this morning following a run-in at Kalerwe. Bobi Wine was on his way to record a statement at CID Kibuli as requested by police last week.

Bobi Wine was intercepted after a crowd formed around his Escalade car in Kalerwe, prompting police to swing in. Police fired teargas and live bullets to disperse the crowd before whisking away Bobi Wine.
Unconfirmed reports indicate that Bobi Wine is to appear at Buganda Road court. He is likely to be charged with incitement to violence in connection with protests against the OTT tax.
Bobi Wine was arrested along with his lawyer Benjamin Katana.
