Kampala gears up for Leadership Summit

With many Ugandans opting to invest in small and medium enterprises, some have suffered losses because of lack pf preparation and leadership skills to steer the enterprises.

NBS TV and its partners want to address this loophole and are organising the first leadership summit targeting small and medium enterprises.

According to Emmanuel Dei- Tumi the chief executive officer of Human Capital International, one of the partners, one of the discussions will centre on how to build the business environment of African States.

"Business review literature is replete with examples of big corporations who were suddenly overtaken by small enterprises, thereby falling into oblivion," Dei-Tumi said.

He said the summit will capitalise on technological advancements, with the aim of creating a strategic nest where business leaders, entrepreneurs and policy makers can converge to engage in a strategic discourse.

"We need to discuss the role of artificial intelligence in enterprise development, and how technology impacts on Africa’s traditional education system and curriculum development," he said.

The Kampala Strategic Leaders’ summit will be held in Kampala at the Sheraton Hotel on 20th February 2019.

Sponsored by NBS TV, Human Capital International and Eco Bank, it will be held under the theme: "Innovation, Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development in Times of Uncertainties.

The conference attendance fee will be Shs 100,000 with speakers like Patrick Bitature, Clement Dodoo, Dr Ham Mukasa Mulira, Emmanuel Dei- Tumi among others.
