KCCA FC's Mike Mutebi attacked by thugs

Unknown assailants attacked and injured Kampala Capital City Authority head coach Mike Mutebi, the Nile Post has learnt.

According to an official statement by the Lugogo based club, the incident took place at around 2am on Monday at Mutebi’s home in Kawempe.

“At around 2am last night, thugs attacked KCCA FC head coach Mike Mutebi at his residence in Kawempe,” the statement read in part.

“He sustained cuts on his arms but was able to get medical treatment at Nsambya Hospital. The gaffer is doing good and resumed club duties this morning.”

It is not the first time that Mutebi's life has come under threat. In the early 90s while still a player, Mutebi was injured by gunshots directed at him by unknown thugs.
