Woman cuts off lover’s genitals over cheating
Police in Mukono have arrested a woman for allegedly cutting off her boyfriend's genitals with a knife after discovering he was cheating on her.
The incident happened over the weekend at Wantoni in Mukono.

On interrogation, Rehema Kabayana 24, the suspect told police that when she discovered that her boyfriend was seeing other women, she decided to revenge on him by cutting off the genitals.
"When I discovered that he was secretly going out and flirting with other girls at different bars, I became very angry. The anger was so much that I had to do something to him in revenge,”Kabayana told police officers on interrogation.
She added that she had recently discovered that her boyfriend was seeing a number of other girls at a brothel near their home which angered her because he had broken her trust.
“I waited when he ( Anthony Sekawa 28) had fallen asleep and I cut off his organ with a knife.”
It is also alleged that after losing his genitals, Sekawa groaned in pain attracting neighbours who in turn called in police to arrest the suspect.
The suspect was detained at Mukono police station on charges of attempted murder whereas the victim was rushed to hospital for treatment.
Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire said detectives found out that the two lovers had misunderstandings from the past that climaxed with the cutting off of Sekawa’s genitals.
“Kabayana had on several occasions demanded that Sekawa stops contact with other women, including not talking to them, answering their calls or even smiling at them but he declined to do it,”Owoyesigyire said.
A man in 2007 lost one of his testicles and had part of his penis cut off during a fight for a woman in Masaka.
In 2014, a woman in Kayunga cut off his 40 year old husband’s genitals in a fight following a misunderstanding over a maize plantation that she had planted.
A 37 year old man in an unprecedented incident in Kayunga in 2015 used a razor blade to cut of his own private parts after learning that his wife was having a love affair with another man on the same village.
