KCCA council sits to discuss Musisi's resignation

The Kampala Capital City Authority council meeting is set to sit and discuss Kampala Executive Director Jennifer Musisi's resignation.

In a 21 page document,Musisi last  week wrote to president Museveni tendering in her resignation.

 

"This is to submit my resignation the position of Executive Director Kampala Capital City Authority with effect from 15 December 2018,”Musisi said in her letter through the Kampala Minister.

However,Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago who is the head of KCCA's political wing said the council would sit to discuss Musisi's resignation in details adding that she should first give accountability.

Today morning,a number of Kampala councillors have gathered for the council meetings.

Security has been tightened both at the city hall entrance and the council hall entrance.
