Three heath workers (names withheld) at Kiboga district hospital were arrested after the parliamentary committee on Heath visited the hospital last week and discovered that they have been selling drugs that are meant to be free to patients.
They were also accused by some patients of soliciting bribes to allow them access doctors.
During the visit by the committee, it was discovered that the hospital was in bad condition, without running water and a functioning blood bank.
From Kiboga, the MPs went to Kyankwanzi district were they toured Butemba Heath centre lll.
Here, they found no workers , poor sanitation and expired drugs.
