Riham, a leading brand of Hariss International Ltd was recently awarded the ‘Best Consumer Goods Brand on Social Media’ at the Digital Impact Africa Awards 2018.
This was the second time the Riham brand was being recognised for its excellent use of digital in market integration and optimisation.
Riham was nominated alongside other consumer brands such as Coca-Cola, Movit, Bell lager, Pepsi, Ugachick and Jesa Farm Dairy among others.
The Digital Impact Africa Awards organized by HiPipo Limited took place on September 21 at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
This year’s awards were aimed at pushing forward digital and financial inclusion, as well as cybersecurity under the theme maximising the digital dividend.
“Hariss International LTD, the makers of the Riham brand, pride themselves in the customised digital platforms they have created to sort the various needs of their target market,” read a statement from the company.
The company has made available information about their products online.
Through their online customer care system, a customer is now able to access support from the company at any given time, and at no cost.
“Hariss International strongly encourages the other industrial players to push forward for digital literacy and equity, and advocates for a Uganda where the majority of the population will have the capability of accessing the digital space,” the statement read.
