Bobi Wine lying about his health status but he will crash, fizzle- Government
Government through its spokesperson Ofwono Opondo has reiterated that singer and Kyadondo East Legislator, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine is lying about his health status against medical records in the different medical facilities in Uganda.
According to Opondo, Bobi Wine was examined by UPDF medical staff, police, prisons at Lacor medical hospital and none of the records revealed torture, let alone deep injuries of any kind that warranted a referral in Uganda or abroad.

“Kyagulanyi is most probably gallivanting on a political publicity stunt in the hope that it may help him galvanise some political base back home,” Opondo said.
“It is not unusual for Ugandans mostly emerging opposition leaders to play to the gallery of international community, particularly whites. But whether he has foreign backing, the Ugandan state is formidable and unshaken, Bobi Wine will crush, will fizzle as the others fizzled,” Opondo added.
Yesterday, Bobi Wine who was backed by his lawyer Robert Amsterdam addressed a press conference in Washington DC.
During the conference, Bobi Wine claimed he was tortured and injected by strange substances that are causing him blisters in palms and skin peeling.
Bobi Wine also said he will not cow down to any form of intimidation because “we swore to ourselves to insist on the fight for freedom”.
Opondo has constantly taunted Bobi Wine and his colleague Francis Butebi Zaake of feigning injuries and claiming they were a result of torture.
