Boxer Kiwalabye takes on Tanzanian Kimweru for East African Super Fly Weight title

Ugandan boxer Frank Kiwalabye will take on Tanzania’s Patrick Kimweru for the East and Central Africa professional boxing super fly weight title on Sunday at the Aponye Mall in Kampala.

This will be the main fight on a day where over ten bouts will be contested.

Uganda’s super fly weight champion will face off with his Tanzanian equal Patrick Kimweru for the vacant East and Central African Professional Boxing federation belt in a twelve round bout on Sunday.

Kiwalabye has 16 professional fights and 15 wins with his only loss coming in his last fight in Ghana. His opponent has two losses and 15 wins in 17 bouts.

Ugandan boxer Kiwalabye says he won't let his opponent last the twelve rounds. '' I do not know his stlye of fight and as a worrier I am ready to knock him out in sixth round.'' Kiwalabye adds.

Tanzanian Kimweru says that he has come here to win and boxing is his profession. ''I am here to work, I can not wait to show ugandan how boxing is business,'' says Kimweru.

The undercards will include UPDF’s Ssebute Abdul taking on Kampala Boxing Club’s Remmy Yiga for the vacant national bantam weight title and Charles Mulindwa Vs Alex Batwabula for the National Welter weight title among other fights.
