Minutes after the army dropped charges of illegal gun possession against Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine, his lawyer Medrad Ssegoona informed the media that he will be charged afresh at the Gulu magistrates court where new charges will be brought.

"I have been informed to inform you (Bobi Wine) that you are under arrest. We shall cooperate with them to the extent that we can. We are going to chief magistrates court in Gulu," Ssegoona said.
Bobi Wine is likely to be charged and remanded to civil prison like his colleagues, Kassiano Wadri, Paul Mwiru and Gerald Karuhanga who were charged with treason last week.
Bobi Wine who appeared to be writhing in pain entered his wife's car under the watchful eye of the police and military and driven to the magistrates court.
