Lt Gen Gutti heads to Gulu to try Bobi Wine

The chairman of the general Court Martial, Lt Gen Andrew Gutti, has reportedly left Kampala for Gulu to chair a court session to try Kyadondo East MP, Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.

The trial is likely to commence in the afternoon, our sources said.

Government alleged yesterday that Kyagulanyi is engaged in acts of treason.

Yesterday security paraded guns and bullets that were allegedly recovered from Pacific Hotel where the legislator was residing.

Earlier today, Kyagulanyi's lawyers led by Asuman Basalirwa arrived at Gulu Military barracks where he the MP is reportedly being held.
