KCCA sign SC Villa’s Nicholas Kasozi on three year deal

Uganda Cup winners Kampala Capital City Authority have announced the signing of midfielder Nicholas Kasozi from SC Villa, the Nile Post has learnt.

According to the club website, Kasozi was signed on a three year deal from the record league champions.

“This is a dream come true for me as a player. I have always wanted to play for KCCA FC and now that am here am glad that my dream has been realized. It is a platform I can use to continue my football development and become better than I am,” Kasozi told the KCCA FC official website.

I want to win trophies with KCCA FC and make the fans happy. I have read about the history of club and you can see they have achieved a lot thus far. I want to add on these achievements with stellar performances that can win us trophies.”

Mike Mutebi’s Kasasiro boys look to be trying to strengthen the team in a bid to reclaim the Uganda Premier League title they won the previous season but lost on the final day of last season to Kitende based Vipers SC.

Kasozi has become the third player to join KCCA FC from the record Ugandan league champions, others being Allan Kyambadde and Bernard Muwanga.

KCCA have lost a number of players to other teams including former captain Denis Okot(Onduparaka), Muhammad Shaban(on trials at Orlando Pirates) and Habib Kavuma(released).
