This comes after a one student of YMCA Jinja Isiiko Brian was convicted and sentenced to two years for harassing the Kabalore Women Legislator Sylvia Rwabwogo.

“The population is big, find a person who suits you, you may not be my type or be on my menu, we all have choices,” they remarked

“People should not underestimate that crime, if you have anyone stalking you whether man or woman, run for protection they may want to harm you, that is harassment,” they said.

They say that by Sylvia Rwabwogo seeking justice in the Courts of law against this cyber harassment was necessary as its now a lesson to the majority of men who fail

With the increasing harassment of women, these Women activists are asking parliament to immediately pass the Sexual offenses bill as it will help to fight the increasing sexual harassment and other forms of violence against women and girls.

The Women activists also want the judiciary fulfill their promise of establishing specialized Gender Based Violence courts to ensure that Justice system conducts timely investigations and rulings.

But as these women legislators fight for the plight of their own, Men activists have also fought for the plight of their own Brian Isiiko and is expected in Court on Tuesday.
