Bugiri Municipality election: Celebrations as JEEMA’s Basaalirwa takes early lead
Provisional results received by the Nile Post show that JEEMA president Asuman Basaalirwa is currently leading the race for Bugiri Municipality election.
Basalirwa is currently leading FDC’s Eunice Namatende and the ruling NRM’s John Francis Oketcho, a situation which has prompted early celebrations by the lawyer’s supporters in Bugiri while chanting slogans praising him.
