Museveni expected in Kotido to drum up support for NRM candidates
President Museveni is expected in Kotido municipality today to campaign for the party flag bearers at different levels of leadership that include the Member of Parliament and the Mayor among others.
According to Rogers Mulindwa, the communications officer at the NRM secretariat, Museveni who is also the party chairman, will arrive in the district at mid-day.

Senior Administrator from the NRM Secretariat in Kampala, Lawrence Mayambala who has been camped in Kotido for two weeks, said the president will address one rally at Lomukura Primary School Play Ground in the Central Division.
Ismail Muhammad Lomwar is the NRM flag bearer for Municipal Mayor and Loki Peter Abrahams for the municipality MP seat.
Kotido Municipality has 37 polling stations, 04 divisions, 106 villages/Cells and close to 20,000 voters.
Mulindwa said other senior party officials have already traversed the municipality. The party secretary general Justine Kasule Lumumba camped there for two days last week to kick start the exercise before she travelled to Bugiri.
