President Museveni to meet MPs over security 'again'

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is set to meet legislators for a debate on his 10 point security program.

A letter from parliament clerk Jane Kibirige addressed to all the honourable members of parliament noted that the speaker, Rebecca Kadaga had earlier communicated to the MPs about the proposed meeting with the president in order to " react on matters concerning security in the country on Tuesday 26th, June 2018"

The letter however goes on to postulate that the meeting was postponed to, Wednesday 27th, June 2018 at exactly 11:00am

" This is therefore to inform you that the meeting has been rescheduled to Wednesday, 27th June 2018 at 11:00 am and the venue will be Office of the Prime Minister's Conference Hall." - The letter states in part.

The president while addressing the legislators on the parliamentary floor recently announced a 10 point strategy to curb insecurity in the country in an address were the law requires that he does so uninterrupted. In tomorrow's meeting however, MPs will have a right to discuss and air our their opinions about the president's strategy.
