City socialite Charles Olim alias Sipapa’s troubles never end, just last year, he stared at the face of death and now he has been arrested.
The socialite was arrested in Kampala following violation of traffic rules allegedly with “impunity”.

The socialite recently bought a range rover car to compete with fellow socialite Bryan White, but it seems his competition for richest could have gone too far only to land him into trouble with traffic officers, earning him a ticket and arrest.
Sipapa was arrested from William street at 11:00am for driving without a sit belt, and given a ticket worth Shs100,000 according to documents seen by Nile Post.
“City socialite Charles Olim aka SIPAPA has been arrested for violating traffic rules. His arrest comes after public outcry on abuse of traffic rules with impunity by social celebrities and high profile motor vehicles including government cars. Police now warns motorists over road indiscipline that will lead to arrests of everyone regardless of their social status,” a statement from police reads.
Sipapa last year came close to death when together with a group of armed robbers attacked the home of Tycoon Obadiah but were repulsed in armed combat killing some of his colleagues. Sipapa survived with injuries and was picked up by police wailing.
