VIDEO: FUFA launches anthem by singer Irene Ntale

The Federation of Uganda Football’s Associations (FUFA) has launched an official anthem and flag.

The two were launched yesterday during a ground breaking ceremony for the construction of a stadium at Kadiba, Rubaga division.

Launched by Fifa president Gianni Infantino last year, the proposed Cranes training facility is meant to host 7000 fans upon completion and also act as recreation facility for locals.

The facilities expected at the ground include; football pitch, guest wing, gym, doping area, VIP pavilion, parking yard, health club, police stand, offices, restaurant and accommodation for players.

At the same event, FUFA president Moses Magogo launched the official FUFA anthem sang by Irene Ntale and written by himself.

Magogo also launched the FUFA official flag.

“The anthem and flag help legitimize FUFA as an institution, even when we seek sponsorship, people will take us serious because they will realize the Association is legitimate,” Magogo said.

“Whenever the anthem will play as our players are walking onto the pitch, it will galvanise them because of the message it carries. It tells us to love our country, our players and be unified,” he added.
