I had affair with Njoroge- MAK Staff claims

Makerere University senior administrator Mr Kisuze Edward who is now at the center of sexual harassment has admitted that he had an affair with Miss Njoroge Racheal Njeri who implicated him for allegedly sexually harassing her.

This was revealed by the Kampala Metropolitan Spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigire Luke.

Kisuze remains in police custody over allegations of sexually harassing Miss Njeroge Rachael Njeri who claims she had come to the university to certify her transcript when the incident occurred.

In a police statement, Kisuze said that they knew each other and they had an affair.

“He says they have been in a relationship. I am not talking about the exact picture that came out because we are not here to determine whether it was him or not but he accepts he knew the lady and they have been in a relationship,”Owoyesigyire said.

“A file has been opened with Charges of rape, sexual harassment’ Owoyesigyire added

Kisuze is expected to appear before court after his file has been taken to the resident state attorney for advise.

“The file is going to be sent to resident state attorney for advice and when it is back we shall know when to take him to court,” Owoyesigyire said.

Kisuze becomes the second University staff member in a row to be accused of sexually harassing a student after Dr. Dr Swizen Kyomuhendo.
