Police court acquits Kirumira of three charges, finds him guilty on one

The police disciplinary court has on Thursday acquitted former Old Kampala and Buyende DPC of three charges.
Kirumira was acquitted of charges related to corrupt practices,extortion, abuse of office and unlawful use of authority.
The same court however convicted him of other counts related unlawful use of authority where Kirumira is accused by suspects who were operatives of the police Flying Squad.
Earlier police blocked journalists from attending the judgment before assaulting them in a bid to force them back.
The court is set to deliver its full sentence later today.
