Police hunt for bus driver who knocked traffic officer dead

Police in Kampala have started the hunt of a bus driver who knocked dead a traffic police officer and took off.
The incident happened on Friday evening at Kabakanjagala Nabunya road along Rubaga road when a bus registration number UAB 684T belonging to Divine Bus Company knocked dead Cpl Wilfred Tweituk attached to Old Kampala police station.
Tweituk died instantly.
According to police, the driver immediately took off after the accident.
A case under file TSD ref 25/9/03/2018 has been opened at Old Kampala police station.
