Formerly called kindergarten artiste, Kenzo now nominated for Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards
At one time he was referred to as a kindergarten artiste by Ugandan media and fellow artistes, now ladies and gentlemen Edirisa Musuza alias Eddy Kenzo has been nominated for the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
The singer who already has a BET award in the bag will be lining up for another possible award should children vote him ahead of the other four people in the category of Favorite African Star.

The category previously won by South African Comedian Travor Noah has this year attracted; Refiloe Maele Phoolo, professionally known as Cassper Nyovest, a South African recording artist and record producer, South African middle distance runner and Olympic gold medalist Caster Mokgadi Semenya, Nigerian singer David Adedeji Adeleke better known as Davido, Nigerian seven-year-old Comedienne Emmanuella Samuel as well as Uganda’s Kenzo, formerly referred to as a kindergarten artiste.
